Top 5 Theme Parks Apps on iOS in the US: Q4 2022 Performance

In the final quarter of 2022, the top theme park apps on iOS in the United States displayed varied performance trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

My Disney Experience from Disney saw consistent growth in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $278.8K in mid-December. Weekly downloads also showed an upward trend, reaching around 68K in the last week of December. Active users increased steadily, starting from 191.9K at the beginning of the quarter and ending at 242.8K in the final week.

Disneyland®, another Disney app, experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $55.1K in mid-December. Weekly downloads fluctuated but saw a significant increase, reaching around 50.4K in the last week of December. Active users also showed an upward trend, increasing from 113.7K to 126.8K throughout the quarter.

Universal Orlando Resort from NBCUniversal Media, LLC, did not generate revenue during this period. However, weekly downloads showed a notable increase, peaking at around 47.9K in the last week of December. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 78.6K and rising to 118K by the end of the quarter.

Universal Studios Hollywood™, also from NBCUniversal Media, LLC, did not report any revenue. The app's weekly downloads fluctuated but peaked at approximately 37K in the last week of December. Active users increased from 44.9K at the beginning of the quarter to 55.9K by the end of December.

SeaWorld from SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment Inc. also did not generate revenue during Q4 2022. Weekly downloads showed a significant increase, peaking at around 31.3K in the last week of December. Active users followed a similar trend, increasing from 18.8K to 42.4K throughout the quarter.
